‘Writing I love Mohammed is not love, it is true love…’, Arshad Madani’s appeal to Muslims – maulana arshad madani i love muhammad appeal to Muslims kanpur ntc

Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Arshad Madani, while addressing the people in the Majlis Tahaffuz Khatme Nabuwwat Conference held in Kanpur, said that writing ‘I Love Mohammad’ in the markets is not true love. He said, ‘If there is love, then keep the words of Allah in your heart.’

Expressing concern over the increasing communalism and politics of hatred in the country, Madani said from the stage, ‘The dance of sectarianism is going on inside our country. The seed of hatred towards Muslims was first sown, now big trees of hatred have grown up.

‘The sound of Azaan is being reduced’

He said that today sectarian forces are trying to portray Islam as a religion of war, but the real teachings of Islam are of love, justice and peace. I say, someone should present as pure a picture of his religion as is shown in the teachings of Islam.

He also expressed his displeasure over the government’s bulldozer action and the action being taken on mosques. Madani said, ‘Bulldozers are running everywhere, mosques are being demolished, the sound of Azaan is being reduced. This can be countered only through the education of Quran and Hadith.

‘Your character can present the correct picture of Islam’

He appealed to Muslims to present the true picture of Islam to the world through their character and conduct. He said, ‘Those who are creating a market of hatred have power. You may not have power, but your character can present the correct picture of Islam.

Maulana Madani finally said that the love between Hindus and Muslims was the identity of this country. Look at the politics of hatred today and spit on it. The teaching of love and affection was the life of this country.
