Uproar over student wearing hijab in private school in Kerala, know the whole matter
The controversy regarding hijab has deepened in a private school in Ernakulam, Kerala, in which the involvement of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) is allegedly coming to light. The student says, ‘This school is not allowing me to wear hijab, they stopped me at the classroom door and asked me to take off the hijab.’ At the same time, St. Rita Public School, run by Christian management, alleges that SDPI workers created a ruckus in the school, after which the Kerala High Court ordered to provide police protection to the school.
