A shocking incident came to light late Friday evening in Saharanpur, UP, where an altercation over a trivial matter on the road took the life of a young man. In Fandpuri Chowki area, youths in a car brutally beat up the pickup driver and killed him. This incident has spread sensation in the entire area.
Beaten to death over minor dispute
According to the information, 30 year old Hamid Ali, resident of Kheda Afghan village, was carrying wood in his pickup. Meanwhile, there was a dispute over touching the youths in the car on the way. After the dispute, the car riders called their friends and started chasing Hamid.
At a short distance from Fandpuri outpost, they stopped Hamid’s car and beat him badly with sticks. The police took seriously injured Hamid to the district hospital, where he died during treatment.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, anger spread in the area. The relatives of the deceased and villagers reached Fandpuri outpost in large numbers and created a ruckus demanding the arrest of the killers. The relatives of the deceased told that Hamid used to support the family by driving a rented pickup.
Police busy searching for the accused
The father had already died and there are five daughters and two younger sons in the house. The family says that this murder, committed over a minor collision, is extremely barbaric and there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire village.
