Uttar Pradesh’s Women Welfare and Child Development Minister Baby Rani Maurya narrowly escaped a horrific road accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway late on Friday night. The accident took place in Naseerpur area of Firozabad district, when the minister’s convoy was returning from Agra to Lucknow. It is being told that his Fortuner car collided with an uncontrolled truck, due to which the vehicle was badly damaged. However, all the people in the car including the minister are safe.
According to the information, the traffic on both sides of the expressway was moving on the same route, during this time the tire of the truck running in front of the minister’s vehicle suddenly burst and it lost control and collided with the Fortuner. Due to the presence of mind of the driver, the car was saved from overturning, due to which a major accident was averted.
