Painful news has come out from Begusarai, Bihar. Here, four members of the same family returning home after seeing the Kali Mela died after being hit by a train. This accident happened between Sahebpur Kamal and Umeshnagar railway station on Barauni-Katihar railway section. After the incident, sensation spread in the entire area.
Some people living in Rahua village of Sahebpur Kamal police station area had gone to nearby Raghunathpur village to watch the Kali Mela. While returning from the fair, four people were crossing the railway track. Meanwhile, all four died on the spot after being hit by the Amrapali Express train going towards Khagaria.
The deceased have been identified as 40-year-old Dharamdev Mahato, 40-year-old Rita Devi, 17-year-old Roshni Kumari and 10-year-old Aarohi Kumari, residents of Rahua village. All are from the same family. Dharamdev Mahato had been living and working as a laborer in the state for some time. He came to the village to meet his family on the occasion of Chhath festival.
As soon as information about the incident was received, local people gathered at the spot in large numbers. After the accident, there was mourning in the entire Rahua village. There is chaos at the house of the deceased and the family members are in bad condition, crying.
On receiving the information, Sahebpur Kamal police station and railway police reached the spot. All four bodies were taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital, where the postmortem process is being done. Sub Inspector of Sahebpur Kamal police station said that while returning after seeing the Kali fair in Raghunathpur village, four people were hit by the Amrapali Express train, due to which all four died on the spot. Further investigation is being done.
