There was a tremendous rise in the stock market during the initial trading in Muhurta trading. Nifty opened above 25,900, while Sensex opened above 84600. However, by the close of trading, Nifty rose 25 points to 25868 and Sensex rose 62 points to 84426. Whereas Bank Nifty fell 26 points and closed at 58,007.

Talking about the stocks with great rise, DCB Bank rose by about 9.17 percent, while Tata Investment’s shares rose by 8 percent. Black Bank’s shares also rose by 8 percent.

Out of the top 30 shares of BSE, 13 shares declined. The biggest decline was in the shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank by about 1 percent. While the biggest rise was in the shares of Bajaj Finserv by 1 percent.

Upper Circuit in 239 shares

4,178 were active on BSE today. Out of these, 3,026 shares rose and 951 shares closed down. However, there was no change in 201 shares. 174 shares reached 52 weeks high and 42 shares reached 52 weeks low. Upper circuit was imposed in 239 shares and lower circuit was imposed in 89 shares.

Huge fall in the prices of gold and silver

A fall of about Rs 8000 per kg was seen in the price of silver on Tuesday. The price of silver on MCX fell below Rs 1.50 lakh. Gold fell by about Rs 2500.

Muhurat trading timings

The stock market remained open today only for 1 hour during Muhurta trading. Muhurta trading ran between 1:45 pm and 2:45 pm. During this period investors Diwali Bought shares for the good of. With Muhurat trading, the Indian stock market has entered Samvat 2082.

Brokerage firms say the Indian market is showing resilience on the back of strong domestic demand, strong corporate earnings and stable macroeconomic conditions.
