The case of the death of Akil Akhtar, 35-year-old son of former DGP Mohammad Mustafa in Panchkula, Punjab, has now taken a new turn. In the SIT investigation, many such secrets have been revealed from Akil’s diary, which are similar to his last video. Police claim that the diary contains the same things that Aqeel had said in his video, but the notes written in some pages are contrary to that.
ACP Vikram Nehra, head of the SIT investigating this case, said that forensic investigation of the diary will be conducted. Akil’s handwriting will also be matched so that it can be decided whether the handwriting is his own or someone else has added something to it. Police have also found such items from Akil’s room, on which suspicion of drug connection is being raised.
The SIT team and forensic experts are now conducting scientific investigation of those items. According to the police, Akil’s mobile phone and some other electronic devices have not been recovered yet, which can provide major clues to the investigation. Akil’s diary has been handed over to the police by his family. The handwriting of the diary and the things recorded in it have confused the SIT.
There are some notes recorded in it in which Akil has mentioned his mental condition, while in some he has talked about the problems inside the house. Police are investigating both these angles on parallel tracks. In this case, FIR has been registered on the complaint of Shamsuddin Chaudhary, resident of Malerkotla. He calls himself a neighbor of Akil Akhtar’s family.

In his complaint, he has expressed doubt over the death of Akil Akhtar. Along with this, suspicion of conspiracy behind this has been expressed. However, his political background has now become a new point of investigation. He was earlier associated with Aam Aadmi Party. of the year 2022 Punjab Has campaigned for candidate Mohammad Jamil-ur-Rehman from Malerkotla in the assembly elections.
In this election, Akil’s mother Razia Sultana was defeated by Jamil-ur-Rehman, who has been a three-time Congress MLA. Rehman says that Shamsuddin Chaudhary was associated with the party for a short time. Before that he had also been associated with Akali Dal. He said that Shamsuddin was never his PA. After complaints were received against him, he was stopped from coming to the office.

Former Punjab DGP (Human Rights) Mohammad Mustafa has completely rejected all the allegations against him. He said, “I welcome the police case. If there is an investigation, the truth will come out.” He claimed that his son Akil Akhtar was suffering from psychotic disorder for the last 18 years. He was also a drug addict. The complainant is a fraud.
He said, “Shamsuddin Chaudhary has never been my neighbour. My house is two kilometers away from Malerkotla. He claims he knows my in-laws, but I have never seen him even at their house. He is working on someone’s instructions. If the SIT wants, it can make him sit in front of me, so that I can question him myself. His lies will be exposed.

Shamsuddin Chaudhary told that on August 27, Akil Akhtar had posted a video on social media, in which he had made serious allegations against his father and wife. He had said that he was in danger of his life. But a few weeks later, he released a new video and said, “The video I posted earlier was because of my mental illness. I have got a very good family.
After receiving the complaint on October 20, Panchkula Police has registered a case under sections 103(1) (murder) and 61 (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Justice Code. Apart from Akil’s parents Mohammad Mustafa and Razia Sultana, names of his wife and sister are also included in this FIR. At present the police is investigating this matter in detail.
