India’s ODI team vice-captain Shreyas Iyer has been admitted to a Sydney hospital after suffering a rib injury during the third ODI against Australia. At present, Shreyas has been kept in ICU because internal bleeding has been found in the investigation.
Shreyas Iyer took a brilliant catch of Alex Carey during the Sydney ODI. He took that catch while running backwards from backward point. At the same time his left rib cage got injured. After returning to the dressing room, when the pain increased, he was immediately taken to the hospital. When the doctors’ report came, it was found that there was a problem of internal bleeding, due to which he had to be immediately admitted to the ICU.
