Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Diwali message has proved to be hollow. Sharif has claimed that minorities in Pakistan enjoy religious freedom and his government has taken special steps. However, violence, forced conversion and persecution against Hindus continues in Pakistan. Just a few days ago, Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir had given a hate speech against Hindus.

Army Chief again raised the issue of old hatred
Shahbaz Sharif’s Diwali Just a few days before the message, Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir had given a hate speech against Hindus. He revived the divisive ‘two-nation theory’. Munir also stressed that such ‘false things’ should not be taught to children.
