Aam Aadmi Party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, in a press conference, alleged scams in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony and Ayodhya beautification projects. He alleged that BJP not only misused public money but also committed corruption in the name of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Cow.
Sanjay Singh Said that corruption worth more than Rs 250 crore has been exposed in the report prepared by ‘Local Fund Audit Department, Ayodhya Mandal’ under the Yogi government. According to the report, irregularities were found in 4,305 construction works, of which only 102 cases were answered, and no explanation was found for the remaining thousands of cases.
Sanjay Singh alleged that BJP leaders indulged in corruption ranging from cow fodder to roads and schemes. In Kanha Gaushala, payment was shown by showing the weight of two trucks at the same time, that is, two trucks of chaff were weighed in one minute. Similarly, a payment of Rs 6.05 crore was made to a blacklisted company named ‘Pratap Heights Limited’ without any work being done. Additionally, payments of over Rs 1.31 crore were made to agencies like Lion Security Service and King Security Service without any contract or work order, and payments were drawn in the name of 1500 ‘ghost employees’.
The AAP MP alleged that according to the audit report done by the students of IIT BHU, lighting was to be done at 22 intersections, but only 19 intersections were lit, while 3 intersections were found ‘missing’, for which Rs.46 crore had been paid. Similarly, there is no trace of many schemes like CCTV Camera Scheme (4.24 crore), Health ATM Scheme (1.46 crore), Walkway Illusion (3.95 crore). Sanjay Singh alleged that payment was made for cleaning 28 kilometers of Rampath road, while the actual cleaning was done only for 3-4 kilometers.
Sanjay Singh alleged that BJP claimed itself to be a devotee of Lord Shri Ram, but did the scam in his name. I want to tell BJP supporters. Sanjay Singh demanded that the Yogi government should conduct an impartial investigation into this entire scam and take strict action against the culprits. In the press conference, Sanjay Singh also revealed the names of those officers during whose tenure these irregularities took place.
