On one hand, US President Donald Trump is making a big claim that India will no longer buy oil from Russia. On the other hand, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak says that Russia continues to be in the list of top suppliers of crude oil to India. In an interview with government news agency TASS RussiaDeputy PM Alexander Novak said on Wednesday that India has started making some payments for Russian oil in Chinese yuan, although most transactions are still done in the Russian currency ruble. Making a big claim, he said, ‘I know that such payments have started and I believe that at present this percentage is less.’ Let us tell you that according to old reports, India was paying for Russian oil mainly in Indian currency Rupee.
