The disabled person also alleged that in the chaos of the spot, an unknown auto driver ran away with his aluminum walking stick. Due to this, traffic on the road was disrupted for some time. Later the traffic police pacified him and assured him of appropriate action. After this he himself reached the police station and lodged a complaint of theft of his stick.

At the same time, officials associated with Mumbai Metro 4 project clarified that no construction work was going on at the site of the incident at that time and the road was in completely motorable condition. The police is investigating the entire matter.
