Report Dirty Toilets, Get FASTag Recharge: Report dirty toilets on the National Highway, get a recharge of Rs 1 thousand as a reward in FASTag – report dirty toilet to nhai and get rupees one thousand as FASTag recharge lclnt

NHAI: Report Dirty Toilets, Get FASTag Recharge. National Highway Authority (NHAI) has started a new initiative keeping in mind the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Now if you see a dirty toilet at any toll plaza and inform it to NHAI, you will get a reward of Rs 1,000 in the form of FASTag recharge. This scheme will remain applicable on national highways across the country till 31 October 2025.

How to complain and get reward?
Under the scheme, highway travelers can upload geo-tagged and time-stamped photos of dirty toilets using the new version of the ‘Rajmargyatra’ app. Along with this, they will have to enter their name, location, vehicle registration number (VRN) and mobile number. After investigation, if the report is found correct, then FASTag worth Rs 1,000 will be recharged on the concerned vehicle number.

What are the prize terms and conditions?
Each vehicle registration number will get the reward only once in the entire duration of this scheme. Similarly, any one toilet will be considered for reward only once in a day, even if multiple complaints have been made against it. If multiple people report the same restroom on the same day, only the first correct report will receive a reward.

Photo will be strictly scrutinized
NHAI said that only clear, original and geo-tagged photographs taken from the app will be valid. Duplicate, old or edited photos will not be accepted. All entries will be scrutinized using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and manual verification, so that the reward is given only to those who report correctly.

Where will this scheme be implemented?
This scheme will be applicable only to those toilets which are built, operated or maintained by NHAI. Toilets built at petrol pumps, dhabas or other private public places will not come under the scope of this scheme. This initiative will promote cleanliness.
