On Instagram, users are searching for Air India flight air hostess Preeti. This is because Instagram comedian Aditi Mittal posted a video about Preeti and it went viral. Actually, in the video, the comedian told that for a few years she was traveling on an Air India flight and she was very sad, then the flight attendant Preeti gave her emotional support and also took care of her.
In a video shared on Instagram, Aditi recalled taking an emergency flight from London to Mumbai after the sudden death of her father in 2017. She said, ‘It was clear from my face that I was very sad. This air hostess, Preeti, kept giving me hot water, tea, lemonade without my asking. Later he said, ‘If it will lighten your heart, whenever I pass by, tell me a funny story about him.’
Since she was eager to talk about her father, she wrote down everything in her notebook and started telling Preeti. Aditi said that this behavior of Preeti helped her in reducing her grief. ‘Now I have a written record of my dad’s funniest moments.’ He said, ‘Preeti, wherever you are, I hope you have the best Diwali in the world.’
Apart from this, Aditi also told how this special experience changed the way cabin crew members approach their work. She said, ‘I swear to God, air hostess is a very simple way of describing all the work they do in the sky in a pressurized cabin.’ He further said, ‘We should change the name of air hostess to something bigger, which actually reflects the amount of work they do.’
Appeal to Air India to find Preeti
