This incident happened at around 1:30 pm on Tuesday at the house of a woman named Thushara in Alappuzha. Thushara was alone at home at that time. Her husband Subash Krishna works abroad. Thushara’s pet dog Rocky was playing in the courtyard of the house, when suddenly he saw that a cobra had entered the courtyard.
Without any delay, Rocky pounced on the snake. There was a fierce fight between the two. During this, the cobra bit Rocky, but Rocky did not give up and finally killed the snake. Rocky saved his mistress’s life, because the snake was moving straight towards the house.
Rocky fell there due to snake bite. Thushara got scared and immediately called for help. Neighbors came running and Rocky was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
