Before the Bihar Assembly elections, Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has formed a new alliance. Party’s state president Akhtarul Iman announced this in a press conference in Kishanganj on Wednesday. He said that Majlis has formed an alliance with Azad Samaj Party and Swami Prasad Maurya’s own Janata Party, so that ‘communal forces can be stopped’.
Akhtarul Iman said that AIMIM will contest elections on 35 assembly seats in Bihar. At the same time, Azad Samaj Party will contest on 25 seats and Swami Prasad Maurya’s own Janata Party will contest on 4 seats. Iman claimed that all three parties will enter the electoral fray with strength and present a new option among the public.
He said, our real fight is not to gain power, but to maintain justice in the country. Iman also told that the names of the candidates have almost been finalized and they will be announced by late evening.
With this announcement, a new front has been formed in the politics of Bihar. Owaisi’s party is already busy strengthening its hold in Seemanchal areas. The effect of AIMIM has already been seen in districts like Kishanganj, Katihar and Araria.

Owaisi attacked RJD
before the announcement of alliance Asaduddin Owaisi Had attacked the leadership of RJD. He had said that the current leadership of RJD is ignorant and lacks foresight. Owaisi said, RJD is thinking that it will do everything on its own strength, but this will not happen. Majlis always guesses the coming flood by smelling the winds.
Owaisi warned and said, we are seeing that the storm is about to come, but after getting drenched with water, these people will say that the flood has come. It will be too late. Only if we talk about equality, BJP and Modi can be stopped.
He said that his party had earlier also talked about opposition unity, but these people did not listen to us. Owaisi also said that when the election results will come, everyone will realize that AIMIM had truly tried.
