Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that no one had thought that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) would become the largest organization in the world within 100 years. Addressing party workers at an event in Lucknow, Rajnath Singh said that RSS was founded about 100 years ago in a small room with only 5 or 7 members, but no one had thought that it would become the largest organization in the world by now.
He said that it is God’s grace that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the largest political party in the world today. He gave the credit for its development to those people who lived their lives in a manner of sacrifice and penance.

‘Like you, I am also a worker’
Rajnath Singh, being the Lok Sabha MP from Lucknow, expressed his desire to meet BJP workers regularly and said that his work as an MP is the result of their efforts. He stressed that like you, I am also a worker. He told that every organization has a system and responsibilities are assigned according to individual capacity. Everyone has different responsibilities, everyone can be number one in their own right.

’No one is small or big in the organization’
Rajnath Singh said that you will say how can everyone be number one? There is no guarantee as to who will reach where. This is a system, so no one is smaller or bigger than anyone else. Giving the example of the number 111, he explained that the first digit represents 100, the second 10 and the last 1, but all are equal. The importance of a person is determined by his position at a given time, and so we are all one.
‘Be sympathetic towards the workers’
The Defense Minister urged the public representatives and senior people to sympathize with the workers and support them in difficult times. He said that bringing peace and happiness in people’s lives is also a divine duty. He advised that when I hear about a bereaved person or someone who has passed away, I make sure to express my condolences. All of you should also do the same. Be present in their homes and stand with them in their hour of sorrow.
