The trailer of Ajay Devgan-Rakulpreet Singh starrer film ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ was released recently. R Madhavan is going to play the role of Ajay’s father-in-law in the film. Madhavan talked about how uncomfortable he felt playing this character despite both the actors being of the same age. He also said that he has no objection to being a part of sequel films, provided the story is good.
Anxiety about playing the role of a father
During the trailer launch of the film, when Madhavan was asked that Ajay Devgan On how he felt playing the father of his on-screen girlfriend, he said, “I have never played a father before, and I was a little nervous working with Ajay. I have seen that many actors are very busy on the sets, but Ajay sir is always present on the sets and is completely dedicated. We always felt a connection between us.”
When Ajay Devgan was asked how he likes working in sequel films, he said, “I have no problem with sequels, just the story should be good. Hopefully the audience will like this film. We are confident that we have made a good film.”
Answer on rumors of ‘de-aging’ i.e. looking younger
Earlier, at the trailer launch of the film ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’, Madhavan had said, “People are accusing me of using de-aging, but I don’t have that much budget for that. Nothing like that has happened.”
Recalling the preparation for his old film ‘Saala Khadoos’, he said, “When I was training for Saala Khadoos, I took advice from many dieticians and fitness experts on how to lose weight, how to stay fit, what to eat, when to eat, but I did not find anyone whose methods I could completely agree with.”
Madhavan told that all this is natural and he does not use any technique.
It is known that the film De De Pyaar De 2 is the sequel of the romantic comedy released in 2019. In the first part, Rakul is seen struggling for her acceptance in Ajay Devgan’s family. Ajay Devgan will be seen trying this in this part. The trailer has been released and fans are liking it very much. The film will be released on 14 November.
