A shocking case of negligence of doctors has come to light in a nursing home in Dadri police station area of Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The family alleges that the newborn girl was given a wrong injection by the staff of a nursing home, due to which the hand of the newborn girl has come to the point of being amputated.
The girl was given the wrong injection
According to the information received, the newborn baby girl born on October 5 fell ill. Greater Noida Was admitted to private nursing home. The family says that during the treatment, the staff administered the injection incorrectly, after which the girl’s hand started swelling and turning blue. When the family complained to the doctors, they were given only assurances, but the girl’s condition continued to deteriorate.
It is alleged that when the situation became serious, the girl’s hand was bandaged and she was referred to another hospital, from there the girl had to be taken to another hospital. Now the girl’s hand has become very infected. The entire hand has reached the point of melting. Due to which the hand has come to the point of amputation. The victim’s family has given a written complaint against the nursing home in Dadri police station in this matter. Taking cognizance of the complaint of the victim’s family, Dadri police station in-charge has sent a letter to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Gautam Buddha Nagar for investigation.
Demand for action against nursing home doctors
In the letter sent by the police station in-charge, it has been told that Shivam Bhati, son of Baleshwar Bhati, resident of village Chithaira, has demanded action against the doctors of the nursing home, accusing them of negligence in the treatment of his newborn daughter. The police have requested the CMO to form an investigation committee in this matter and provide the report, so that further legal action can be taken.

Shivam, the father of the newborn girl, alleged that his daughter was born on October 5 and he came to the nursing home in Dadri on October 9 to get her treated, where his daughter was given a wrong injection in her hand, due to which the child’s hand got damaged. However, they did not know then because the girl’s hand was bandaged. When he reached the private hospital, the doctor there immediately called him and said that your daughter’s hand was blue. Then he realized that it was the wrong injection. The girl’s father has complained to the police against the nursing home, after which the police have written a letter to the CMO and requested to form an investigation committee to investigate the entire incident so that the police can take action.
