While playing follow on, the West Indies batsmen showed intent in the second innings. Opener John Campbell faced 199 balls and scored 115 runs, which included 12 fours and three sixes. The performance of West Indies batsmen was not anything special in the first innings. The batsmen of the visiting team could not stand against the Indian bowlers.
