Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday supported US President Donald Trump’s claim in which he had taken credit for establishing ceasefire between India and Pakistan. Sharif said that Trump avoided a possible nuclear conflict between the two nuclear powers.
Speaking at a global conference on the future of Gaza Shahbaz Sharif Called Trump a peace ambassador and said that’s why he nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
During this, Trump also praised PM Narendra Modi. Turning towards Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif standing behind him in the conference, he said that India and Pakistan will live together very well. The guest leader laughed at this.
Smiling at the cameras, Trump said without naming PM Modi, “India is a great country with a very good friend of mine at the helm. And he has done a very good job. I think Pakistan and India will get along very well.”
Trump given credit for peace efforts
The unexpected moment came when Trump invited Shehbaz Sharif on the stage in the middle of his address and said, “Would you like to say something? Say what you said to me the other day.”
After this, Sharif, speaking on the stage for about five minutes, praised Trump and said that he made tireless diplomatic efforts to stop the war and bring peace in the conflict areas.
He said, “Today is one of the greatest days in modern history, because peace has been established after sustained efforts made under the leadership of President Trump. He is truly a man of peace.”
Sharif further said that Trump worked hard throughout the month so that the world could live in peace and prosperity. While officially nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in an emotional tone, he said, “Pakistan has nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. donald trump Has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, because he first stopped the war between India and Pakistan and then established ceasefire. His team has also been exceptional in this work.”
Sharif described Trump as the most honest and most worthy candidate for Nobel.
‘Stop eight wars now, not seven’
This praise of Shehbaz Sharif has come at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Parliament have also nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Netanyahu said that Trump played an important role in avoiding many wars in the Middle East and pursuing peace agreements.
Pointing towards Sharif from the stage, Trump jokingly said that he and his favorite field marshal from Pakistan are also present here today and then invited Sharif to speak.

In his address, Sharif said, “If this gentleman (Trump) and his brilliant team had not intervened for four days, the war between the two nuclear powers India and Pakistan could have escalated to such an extent that no one would have been alive to tell what happened.
He said that Trump’s peace-keeping role was not limited only to India-Pakistan, but he also prepared the path for peace in the Middle East with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Honorable President, your and President Sisi’s contribution will be written in golden letters in history.
Trump’s humorous answer
When Trump returned to the stage, he smiled and said, “Wow! I didn’t expect this. Now let’s go home. It doesn’t get any better than this. Goodbye, friends!”
