A painful road accident took place in Multai police station area of Betul district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday afternoon. A Bolero vehicle loaded with devotees collided with a truck and a bullock cart near Malhara Pankha on Nagpur-Bhopal National Highway (NH-47). In this horrific collision, one person died on the spot, while 12 devotees were injured. The condition of three injured is said to be serious.
According to the information, devotees of Diamau and Kutkhedi villages of Amla block had gone to Jam Sanwali Mata temple for worship on the day of Dhanteras. After the puja, everyone was returning in Bolero. On the way, Bolero tried to give side to the truck, then the truck hit Bolero. After this, the Bolero went out of control and collided with two bullock carts, due to which both the vehicle and the bullock cart were badly damaged.
As soon as information about the accident was received, the police and ambulance team reached the spot and the injured were taken to Multai Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Yadav, whose post-mortem is being conducted at Multai Community Health Centre.
Injured devotee Anil Suryavanshi told that the truck hit the Bolero and then the Bolero collided with the bullock cart.
