Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the centenary celebrations of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Gorakhpur. Here he expressed his opinion on issues like construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Diwali, farmers, economy, environment. He also fiercely targeted Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Said that the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya is not just a temple, but a symbol of the renaissance of India’s self-respect, faith and Sanatan culture. He said that this moment is an auspicious beginning of India’s resolve to become a developed India.
Yogi Adityanath said, “Who would be such an Indian who has never had a desire to go to Ayodhya and see the birthplace of Shri Ram. For years, Ram devotees faced insults, harassment, sticks and bullets, but never backed down from their resolve. Today, the result of that unwavering faith is in front of everyone. A grand Ram temple is being built in Ayodhya.”
The Chief Minister said that this temple is also an inspiration for those oppressed castes and societies who are struggling. “If they continue their efforts, victory will surely come,” he said.
Once upon a time there was darkness in Ayodhya on Diwali.
Chief Minister Yogi told that when he became the Chief Minister, he was shocked to see the situation in Ayodhya. He said, “Diwali was celebrated all over the country, but there was darkness in Ayodhya. Electricity was available for hardly two-three hours, the ghats were broken and there was a lot of filth.”
He said that in 2017 he decided that Deepotsav would be organized in Ayodhya only. In the first year only 51 thousand lamps were lit, but recently 26 lakh 17 thousand lamps were lit in Ayodhya.
Akhilesh Yadav is irritated even with the lamps
Taking a dig at the Samajwadi Party, the Chief Minister said, “Akhilesh Yadav had said what is the need to light lamps? These are the same people who have problems with both Ram and Krishna. When we formed the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad, they had said that we will install the statue of Duryodhana in Mathura.”
He said that our values are of Lord Ram and Krishna, whereas Kansa and Duryodhana are dear to him. Therefore, these people are not only traitors to Ram but also traitors to Krishna and against Sanatan festivals.
Congress had said that Ram and Krishna are myths
Yogi Adityanath said that Congress had given an affidavit in the Supreme Court saying that Ram and Krishna are myths. He said, “These statements insulted the faith of crores of Hindus.”
He told that on January 22, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had consecrated Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, and at that time lakhs of devotees from India and abroad were present there. Many people were kissing the ground, touching the pillars, with tears of joy in their eyes.
Those who opened fire on Ram devotees talk about morality today
Chief Minister Yogi said that Congress and Samajwadi Party, who opened fire on Ram devotees, today pretend to be secular.
He said, “Those who ordered the removal of Ram Lalla’s idol now want to take credit for the construction of the temple. But this change has come from the faith of the public.”
Ayodhya and Prayagraj now centers of attraction in the world
The Chief Minister said that last year alone more than six crore devotees came to Ayodhya for darshan. Similarly, more than 66 crore devotees participated in the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh gave the values
Yogi Adityanath said that this feeling of unity and dedication has come from the school of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The Sangh gave every Indian a sense of dedication towards the nation. But we should not be complacent, because a society that sleeps in its successes begins to break down.
Conspiracy to break the society again
The Chief Minister warned that even today conspiracies are going on to break the society in the name of caste, language and region. Every Indian has to be aware so that no force can weaken the unity of the nation.
Income of farmers and potters increased due to Diwali
The Chief Minister said that Ayodhya Deepotsav not only awakened religious sentiments but also gave new life to the rural economy.
He said, “The leaders of the Samajwadi Party said that what is the need to light the lamps. They do not understand that the oil in these lamps belongs to the farmer, and the one who makes the earthen lamps is the potter of the Prajapati community.
He said that the government allowed potters to take soil from the ponds for free from April to June, and also provided solar and electric wheel. Earlier he used to make 50-60 utensils with manual wheel, now he is making four-five hundred utensils every day.
He told that with this policy the potters are becoming financially self-reliant and are also joining the Plastic-Free India campaign.
Money came into the pockets of every class, the economy became stronger.
The Chief Minister said that due to these efforts, the income of farmers, potters and small traders increased, which also led to a boom in the market. When the person sitting at the last rank has money in his pocket, only then both the society and the nation become prosperous. Today India is the fourth largest economy in the world and will soon become the third.
