To handle the crowd in this busy festival season, 12000 special trains have been run so that passengers can get additional facilities. He also said that strict action is being taken against those spreading misleading news on social media and FIR has been registered against many people.

For crowd control, holding areas have been created at the station, where passengers are being given entry in a systematic manner. So that order is maintained and there is no chaos.

On Saturday, a huge crowd of passengers was also seen at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai. But Railways has made concrete arrangements keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the passengers. Railways have created separate khatals (barricaded areas) especially for the passengers of general coach. Where the passengers have been parked in an organized manner, so that there is no situation of any kind of pushing or stampede. Different berths have been fixed for different trains.

RPF and GRP personnel are continuously monitoring the railway station, so that there is no lapse in the safety of passengers. Along with this, other railway employees are also busy helping the passengers on the platform. There are many passengers who are not able to get tickets. He says that the ticket prices are being changed arbitrarily. Still, most of the passengers believe that this time the railway arrangements are better, because this is not only controlling the crowd but the possibility of any kind of accident has also reduced.

Due to Diwali and Chhath festival, crowd has started increasing in trains going from Jhansi to Gorakhpur. Due to the huge crowd, someone is seen entering the coach through the window and someone is seen pushing and getting inside.
