According to MPCB data, AQI was 98 in Colaba, 124 in Chembur, 152 in Mulund and 113 in Kherwadi (Bandra East). Whereas, according to IITM data, AQI was recorded at 198 in Navy Nagar, 185 in Malad West, 155 in Deonar and 84 in Bhandup West. According to CPCB, AQI levels from 0 to 50 are considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’, 401 to 450 ‘severe’ and above 450 ‘severe plus’.
