Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chhotulal Sharma is once again embroiled in controversy. A video of him surfaced in which he is shown slapping a petrol pump employee in Bhilwara. The incident, which took place on October 21 on the Ajmer-Bhilwara National Highway, has sparked outrage among people and has reignited discussions about Sharma’s history of misbehavior.
In the viral video, Sharma is seen arguing with a CNG pump employee and claiming his authority by saying, ‘I am the SDM here, do you know who I am?’ The argument escalated so much that the officer and the employee slapped each other. Later the police took three employees of the petrol pump into custody.
Who is SDM Chhotulal Sharma?

He was born on June 1, 1980 in Ajmer, Rajasthan. According to media reports, Sharma served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Ganganagar, Chittorgarh. Second wife accused of molestation
Following the controversy, Deepika Vyas, claiming to be Sharma’s wife, lodged an FIR at the local police station against the petrol pump staff, alleging molestation and harassment. According to her complaint, an employee winked at her, which enraged her husband. When Sharma protested, the employee allegedly refused to service his vehicle and started filling oil in another vehicle instead. Police have confirmed that a cross-FIR has been registered, and the investigation into the allegations of assault and harassment is ongoing, with officials also examining CCTV footage to ascertain the sequence of events.
