Buy broom and mustard oil before noon on Sunday. Today, Trayodashi Tithi of 18th October 2025 will start at 12:18 pm and end at 1:51 pm on 19th October 2025. Therefore, some items can be purchased tomorrow on Sunday also. Pradosh Kaal is important in Dhanteras also, hence do the main shopping today itself, leave only the broom and mustard oil.

Buying a broom at an auspicious time brings happiness, prosperity and peace in the house. According to astrology, buying a broom on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is considered most auspicious.
