Tejashwi Yadav has once again decided to contest elections from his traditional seat Raghopur. He has fixed October 15 as the date for nomination. Meanwhile, his supporters have released posters on social media and appealed to the people to attend the nomination ceremony.
There is still no consensus on seat sharing in the Grand Alliance
However, despite the announcement of Tejashwi’s nomination, no consensus has been reached yet regarding seat sharing within the Grand Alliance. There is a situation of conflict between Congress and Left parties on many seats. According to sources, RJD is staking claim on 140 seats, while allies are unhappy with it.

Political importance of Raghopur seat
Raghopur seat has been special for both Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav. Lalu Yadav had also contested elections from here, and now Tejashwi is trying his luck here for the second consecutive time. This seat is considered the traditional stronghold of the Yadav family.
Regarding seat sharing in the Grand Alliance, Tejashwi Yadav said that everything is fine and it will be formally announced in the next one or two days. He said that a consensus has been reached between all the parties and the list of candidates will be released soon.
