Whereas Awadh Bihari Chaudhary has got a chance to contest elections from Siwan and Akhtarul Sahin has got a chance to contest elections from Samastipur. After this decision issued by the party, the candidates have started preparing for the campaign. Everyone’s eyes are on the campaign of these candidates in the elections.
Shahabuddin’s wife Hina Shahab had met Lalu, Tejashwi Yadav
Shahabuddin’s wife Hina Shahab had met Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav in April this year and proposed her son Osama to contest elections from Raghunathpur seat. After this he had publicly said that ‘Raghunathpur is our traditional area, so we have thought of fielding Osama from here.’
Harishankar Yadav has been MLA twice
After his statement, discussions intensified in political circles. It was already decided that Osama would get the ticket from Raghunathpur. At the time of the meeting, sitting MLA Harishankar Yadav had decided to leave his seat in support of Osama. Raghunathpur assembly seat of Siwan district is currently in the possession of RJD, from where Harishankar Yadav became MLA for the second consecutive time.
Now the party has officially made Osama Shahab its candidate from Raghunathpur. However, now the discussion is in full swing in the political circles whether late Shahabuddin’s son Osama will be able to handle his father’s political legacy and succeed in this difficult election test?
