Police have arrested PG room owner Prashant Bankar in the suicide case of Satara’s female doctor Sampada Munde. After the arrest, the police is taking the accused to the hospital for medical test. Sampada had made serious allegations against Prashant and some policemen in the suicide note, after which this action was taken.
Sampada Munde had revealed in her suicide note that Prashant Bankar not only mentally abused her but also threatened her to vacate the room several times. Apart from this, Sampada had accused some policemen of rape. Investigation has revealed that Prashant had a close relationship with these policemen and together they were pressurizing the doctor.
According to police sources, Sampada was under mental stress for a long time. Prashant’s repeated threats and the involvement of policemen forced him to commit suicide.
