According to the news agency, the police detained Sonu’s wife Sonia and his mother Saroj for questioning. At first both of them claimed to be innocent, but when the mountain of evidence came to light, Sonia broke down. What he told stunned even the police team. Sonia told that we had bought the plot for Rs 3 lakh, now its price has become Rs 30 lakh. Sonu used to put pressure on my mother every day to transfer the land to him. When we refused, he made a video of mother taking a bath and threatened to make the video viral if the plot was not in his name. Fed up with these threats, mother and daughter decided to get rid of Sonu forever.

Police station in-charge Rakesh Kumar Sharma said that both the accused women Sonia and Saroj were arrested and presented in the court, from where they have been sent to judicial custody. Police have recovered the rope, sleeping pills and broken mobile used in the murder. The investigation of the case is being taken forward so that it can be found out whether anyone else had a role in the murder conspiracy.
