A unique and poignant example of Ganga-Jamuni culture has come to light from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. A young man named Sufiyan Allahabadi, resident of this place, has prayed for the health of Hindu saint Premanand Maharaj from Madina while performing Umrah. Sufiyan has posted a video of one minute and 20 seconds on social media, which is going viral rapidly. The mosque of Medina is visible in the background of the video.
A resident of Nakhas Kona located in Shahganj police station area of Prayagraj is on Madina tour these days. Sufiyan is holding a mobile in his hand, in which the picture of Premanand Maharaj is visible.
Sufiyan is saying, “This is our Premanand Maharaj ji, a very good person of India. I came to know that his health is not well. I pray from here that he gets well as soon as possible. He is a very true and good person.”
He further said, “We pray for the Hindu brother from the city of Madina. Neither Hindu nor Muslim should only be a good person. We pray for Maharaj Ji that Allah grants him good health and well being.”
Earlier, Arif Khan Chishti, a resident of Narmadapuram (formerly Hoshangabad) in Madhya Pradesh, had expressed his desire to donate his kidney to Sant Premanand Ji Maharaj.
For this he had sent a letter to Premanand Ji Maharaj and the district administration. However, the saint’s ashram politely refused to accept this request.
