British automaker Land Rover has launched the special version of its iconic SUV Defender 110 Trophy Edition in India. The price of this special edition SUV equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine has been fixed at Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom). This limited-edition model has been specially designed for those who are fond of adventure and off-roading.
Special look and exclusive edition
Defender Trophy Edition will be available in two new color options. Which includes Deep Sunglo Yellow and Keswick Green color. Talking about look and design, it has been given a blacked-out roof, bonnet, scuff plates, wheel arches and side cladding which gives it a more muscular look. Special Trophy Edition decals are also seen on the bonnet and C-pillar which give it an even more unique style.
This limited edition version comes with 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels on which customers can opt for all-season or all-terrain tyres. Additionally, optional accessories are also being offered for off-roading such as heavy-duty roof rack, black deployable side ladder, side panniers and black snorkel. Apart from this, buyers can also choose the option of matte protective film in both the colors to protect their vehicle from scratches.
How is the interior of the SUV?
Inside the cabin, ebony Windsor leather seats, LED plates with Trophy branding on the door sills and the dashboard crossbeam are finished in the exterior colour. At the same time, the trophy badging is also finely engraved on its laser-etched endcaps. The company has left no stone unturned in making its cabin premium.
Engine and Performance
Defender 110 Trophy Edition has a 3.0-litre inline-6 twin-turbocharged diesel engine, which generates 350hp power and 700Nm torque. It comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel-drive system. According to the company, this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds and its top speed goes up to 191 km/h.

In fact, the roots of the Trophy Edition go back to the Camel Trophy event that started in 1980, which was also known as ‘The Olympics of 4×4’. Jeep was used in this international off-roading competition in the initial years, but later Land Rover became its official vehicle partner.
