When Pratika Raval completed her first century in the Women’s World Cup against New Zealand, the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai echoed with waves of joy and pride. The 25-year-old young batsman responded to the affectionate applause of the audience by lifting her helmet and swinging the bat in the air.
The sounds of ‘Pratika-Pratika’ echoed in every direction of the stadium, as if the entire ground was celebrating their success. This moment not only touched the hearts of the audience, but also brought a flicker of untold emotions in the eyes of father Pradeep Rawal.
His father Pradeep Rawal, who was present in the crowd, was very emotional to see this moment. His decision to train Pratika from the age of just three years has now paid off brilliantly.
