Terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has postponed its big worker rally to be held on November 2, 2025 at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, citing security concerns. The organization has said that the new date will be announced later.
This program was launched after ‘Operation Sindoor’. Pakistan It was being publicized as the first major public rally in which Indian forces destroyed major headquarters of Lashkar.
The rally was being organized under the banner of Lashkar’s political front ‘Pakistan Markaz-e-Muslim League’. The program was seen as an attempt to regroup and embolden jihadi cadres after serious operational failures.
Top terrorist leaders were to attend the rally
Top LeT leaders Hafiz Abdul Rauf and Pahalgam attack mastermind Saifullah Kasuri were expected to attend the postponed rally. The postponement of the rally comes at a time when tensions are high and there are fears that such a gathering could give rise to new unrest across Pakistan’s Punjab province.
Question on Pakistan’s military plan
Intelligence inputs suggest that Pakistan was supporting the event as part of a larger plan to revive the military establishment Lashkar-e-Taiba and counter the growing influence of TTP. Security reasons have been cited as the reason behind postponing the rally.
