There was a fierce clash between two communities over parking of a vehicle on Lehra Road in Soron town in Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. A minor dispute took the form of a bloody conflict. There was rapid firing from both sides, in which half a dozen people were injured and the condition of a young man is critical.
How did the controversy erupt?
This incident happened on Thursday evening on Lehra Road in Soron. The dispute started due to parking of the car in front of the shop. There was abuse and firing, due to which six people were injured. Police have registered a case and arrested three people. The video of the incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which scenes of abuse and firing between the two parties can be clearly seen.
What action did the police take?
The people injured in the firing were admitted to the Community Health Center of Soron, from where a serious youth has been referred to Aligarh Medical College. As soon as the information was received, Area Officer, City Anchal Chauhan reached the spot with heavy police force and took the situation under control. Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar said that a case has been registered under appropriate sections and three people have been arrested. Police have also recovered a licensed 315 bore rifle and a revolver from the spot.
What is the situation now?
Both the parties have given written complaints against each other in Soron police station. Police is taking further action on the basis of viral video and spot investigation. SP said that the weapon used in the incident has also been recovered. The police is interrogating both the parties and is investigating the matter in depth. Police force is currently deployed in the area. There is a tense situation but the situation is under control.
