When ad guru met Sushmita during ‘Miss India’ title
Aishwarya was quite famous in 1994. Ad guru Prahlad Kakkar had a hand in making him popular. In such a situation, when she reached for Miss India pageant, those present there Sushmita Sen Felt that Aishwarya had won the title. Recently, in an interview given to a news agency, Prahlad Kakkar told that he saw the fight between Aishwarya and Sushmita with his own eyes.
He also narrated a story related to Miss India Contest. Prahlad Kakkar tells that he had taken Aishwarya and her mother to Goa, where this contest was organized. There he met Sushmita. He was allowed to go in and out of the changing room, which made the organizers unhappy. Ad Guru says that one day he saw Sushmita crying bitterly in a corner of the changing room.
He told, ‘Even though I was with Aishwarya, I still went to Sushmita to inquire about her condition. I asked him what happened? So he said that everything is already fixed. There is rigging going on here, I don’t know what we are doing here. When I asked what was the fix, Sushmita said that Aishwarya has grown so much and now she is going to become a big model. We have just started. We have come here to collect the remaining things.
What was the reason for Sushmita’s crying?
Prahlad Kakkar further says that he explained to Sushmita that Judge Simone Tata, who had come to judge the Miss India pageant at that time, would not listen to the organizer. She will make only that winner who is worthy of becoming Miss India. While narrating the story of the end of the contest, Prahlad Kakkar said that the judges were not able to choose between Aishwarya and Sushmita, hence another extra question-answer round was held.
Ad Guru said, ‘Aishwarya had fallen during that time. But both were very beautiful, so the judges were not able to decide who should win. Then a final round was held, in which Sushmita won. Due to her convent education, the judge found Sushmita’s answers more confident than Aishwarya’s. That’s why she won the last round.
Let us tell you that Sushmita started her acting career before Aishwarya. She was seen for the first time on the big screen in the 1996 film Dastak. Aishwarya entered Bollywood in 1997 with Bobby Deol’s film ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’.
