Virat Kohli’s performance was very disappointing in the ODI match played between India and Australia in Adelaide on 23 October (Thursday). Kohli faced four balls and could not open his account. Starc had trapped Kohli on the incoming ball.
When in the second ODI Virat Kohli When he was returning to the pavilion after getting out, he raised his gloves and pointed towards the audience. This is probably considered to be Kohli’s last tour of Australia, in such a situation, he probably came to play at Adelaide Oval for the last time. However, after this gesture of Kohli, a discussion has started among the fans whether he will retire from ODI cricket after the Australia tour.
Veteran spinner after Indian team’s defeat in Adelaide ODI Ravichandran Ashwin Posted a mysterious picture on his X account, which fans are associating with Virat Kohli.
The picture shared by Ravichandran Ashwin was similar to the logo of sportswear brand Nike. But instead of Just Do It, ‘Just Leave It’ was written on it. He also replaced the Nike logo with the three colors of the Indian tricolor (orange, white and green).
Now fans are speculating that perhaps Ravichandran Ashwin had made this post for Virat Kohli. However, Ashwin has not yet clarified whether his post was about Kohli or not. By the way, three years ago i.e. in the year 2022, on October 23 itself, during the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan, Ashwin had released the ball by showing cleverness in the last over, perhaps this post can be for him also.

Meanwhile, former Team India captain Sunil Gavaskar has defended Virat Kohli. Gavaskar told Sports Today that if Kohli fails in two-three matches, then he should be allowed to do so. Gavaskar said that nothing much will change from these two ODI matches and there is still a lot of cricket left in Kohli.
Some fans considered Virat Kohli’s gesture of lifting the gloves in Adelaide ODI as a farewell gesture, but Sunil Gavaskar rejected it and said that he was just greeting the spectators. Gavaskar said that the fans have given so much love and respect to Kohli over the years and it is wrong to consider it as a farewell gesture.
