Devuthani Ekadashi 2025 Date: Devuthani Ekadashi is considered very important in Hindu religion. It is also known as Devutthan Ekadashi and Devutthan Ekadashi. Devuthani Ekadashi 2025 Tithi

Every year, the fast of Devuthani Ekadashi is observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. This time the date of Devuthani Ekadashi will start on November 1 at 9:11 am and the date will end on October 2 at 7:31 am. Therefore, as per Udayatithi, Devuthani Ekadashi will be celebrated on 1st November only. The Parana of this fast will start from 1:11 pm on 2nd November and will end at 3:23 pm.

Devuthani Ekadashi Pujan Vidhi

On the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, a sugarcane pavilion is decorated in the house and a beautiful square is made in the middle of it. An idol or picture of Lord Vishnu can be installed in the center of the square. Footprints of God are made near the square, which are considered auspicious to keep covered. After this, sugarcane, water chestnuts, fruits and sweets are offered to the Lord. Finally a ghee lamp is lit and it is allowed to burn the whole night.

Do not do these things on Ekadashi

1. Eating rice on this day is considered completely prohibited. Apart from this, one should also avoid consuming non-vegetarian food or things having Tamasic properties.

2. People who have observed Ekadashi fast should not brush their teeth with wooden toothbrush or paste. Because leaves of any tree or plant should not be plucked on this day.

3. Avoid plucking Tulsi on the day of Ekadashi, because Tulsi is beloved of Vishnu.

4. Basil should be plucked in advance for offering, but the offered basil should not be consumed by oneself.

5. Those observing fast should not consume cabbage, carrot, turnip, spinach, kulfa greens etc. even by mistake.
