‘One penny in the name of Halal…’, listen to what CM Yogi said

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has given a big statement on Halal certification and ‘Political Islam’ in an RSS program, while former minister Swami Prasad Maurya has created a new controversy by raising questions on Lakshmi Puja. CM Yogi said, ‘British colony is discussed, French colony is discussed, but there is no discussion anywhere about political Islam which attacked the faith.’ He said that the money received from Halal certification is spent on terrorism, love jihad and religious conversion and Uttar Pradesh has taken strict action against it. On the other hand, Swami Prasad Maurya said that if worshiping Lakshmi had brought wealth then India would not have been included among the poor countries. Hindu organizations have reacted sharply to this. CM Yogi also criticized the statement given by SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Diwali, calling it ‘childish’.
