A road in the Richmond Hill area of New York City, America, has now been named “Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Marg”. This area is an important center of the Sikh community there and the famous Gurudwara Makhan Shah Lubana is also located here. This new name of the road has been kept to honor the legacy of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji who is considered a symbol of sacrifice, compassion and standing firm for justice.
On this occasion, India’s Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri wrote on social media that this is a moment of pride for the Sikh community. He said that such honor shows that the Sikh community has new york Has made its strong identity in the culture and society of India.
