Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to the countrymen and extended his warm wishes on the occasion of Diwali. PM told that this is the second Diwali after the grand construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. He said that Lord Shri Ram gives us courage to follow religion and fight injustice. A living example of this was seen in Operation Sindoor a few months ago, when India followed Dharma and avenged injustice.
The Prime Minister said in his letter that in recent times many people have left the path of violence and adopted the mainstream of development and have expressed faith in the Constitution. The PM called it a big achievement for the nation.
He said that amidst these historic achievements, the country has in recent times initiated next-generation reforms. Lower GST rates were implemented on the first day of Navratri.
Duties of citizens for developed India…
PM Modi said that citizens are saving thousands of crores of rupees during the GST Bachat Utsav. He said that in a world going through many crises, India has emerged as a symbol of both stability and sensitivity. India is moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world in the near future. In this journey of a developed and self-reliant India, the primary responsibility of the citizens is to fulfill their duties towards the nation.

‘Adopt Swadeshi and stay healthy’
In his letter, the Prime Minister urged the countrymen to adopt ‘Swadeshi’ and ‘This is Swadeshi!’ Urged to say. He appealed to promote the spirit of ‘One India, Best India’, respect all languages ββand maintain cleanliness. He suggested adopting yoga along with giving priority to health and reducing the use of oil in food by 10%. He said that all these efforts will rapidly take us towards ‘developed India’.
