Railway’s big plan on Diwali-Chhath, 1700 special trains will run from Mumbai to UP and Bihar, see

In view of the huge crowd of passengers during the festive season, Central Railway has made a big announcement. Chief PRO of Central Railway, Dr. Swapnil Neela said that more than 1700 special trains are being run from Mumbai and Maharashtra for Diwali and Chhath Puja. He said, ‘Out of these 1700 trains from Central Railway, about 1000 trains are being run for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar along with Kolkata and Assam.’ These trains are part of the 12,000 festive trains announced by Indian Railways and will run mainly between October 10 and November 15.
