A special POCSO court in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday sentenced a person to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. The court has found him guilty of kidnapping and raping a 15-year-old minor girl for one and a half years.
Special Public Prosecutor (POCSO), Dheeraj Shukla said that the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on the convict Shailendra Mali (23). The court has directed that the entire amount of the fine be given to the victim.

Shukla informed that this matter Bhadohi It is from a village in the district, where the gardener raped an eighth class student for one and a half years. Due to this heinous act the girl became pregnant and later gave birth to a child. The hearing of this case took place in the court of Additional District Judge (POCSO) Lokesh Kumar Mishra.
Superintendent of Police Abhimanyu Manglik said that the victim’s father had filed a complaint against the gardener in May 2024. After this the victim was recovered and medical examination confirmed her pregnancy.
After this, the victim’s statement was recorded in the court and she was sent to Nari Niketan. The accused was arrested and sent to jail and then a charge sheet was filed in the case. The police took quick and effective action in this case, due to which the culprit got strict punishment.
