The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia is to be played on October 19 (Sunday) at Optus Stadium in Perth. In this match, Shubman Gill will captain the Indian team, while Mitchell Marsh will command the Australian team. This match will be played from 9 am according to Indian time.
As captain, Shubman Gill will lead the Indian team in ODI cricket for the first time, so this match is going to be very special for him. Veteran batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is also making a comeback in international cricket through this match. Rohit-Kohli (ROKO) are coming to play for India after 224 days, there is tremendous excitement among the fans. Both the players were seen playing for the Indian team in the ICC Champions Trophy in March this year, where the Rohit brigade won the title.
There has hardly ever been such an occasion in his career, when Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma Stayed out of the Indian team for such a long time, that too without injury.
