Condolences have also been expressed by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The dreams of these promising players remained unfulfilled due to violence. After the cowardly attack, the Afghanistan Cricket Board took a big decision. ACB made it clear that it will no longer send its players to Pakistan for the tri-series. There has been no bilateral series between the two countries since Afghanistan got Test status. However, Afghanistan’s A team often visited Pakistan and many players also trained there. At one time the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had allowed Afghan players to play in their domestic tournaments.
