Shantanu Yadav angry over not getting ticket from Madhepura
Shantanu Yadav said, ‘My father had merged his party with RJD (RJD). At that time it was promised that I would get a chance to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Madhepura. But later Lalu ji and Tejashwi ji said that you should contest the assembly elections. We agreed considering him as our guardian. Now at the last moment the ticket was given to someone else.
Shantanu can contest elections as an independent
Shantanu indicated in gestures that he will decide the future strategy after discussing with his supporters and the people of the area. According to political experts, this statement of Shantanu Yadav can affect the equations of RJD on Madhepura seat. This area is considered the stronghold of Yadav politics and Sharad Yadav had created a strong support base by being MP from here several times.
This time RJD has given a chance to another face to balance the ticket, due to which some supporters of Yadav family are angry. However, till now there has been no official response from the party on Shantanu Yadav’s allegations. If Shantanu Yadav takes any big step or adopts a different path in the coming days, it may impact RJD’s vote bank in Madhepura and Kosi region.
