CPI (ML) has announced candidates for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. The party has released a list of 20 candidates, this list has been prepared keeping in mind the two-phase election contests. CPI (ML) has carefully selected its candidates, including from the majority SC (Scheduled Caste) reserved seats.

Dhananjay has been given a chance from Bhojar in Bhojpur, Satyadev Ram from Darauli seat, Phoolbabu Singh from Warisnagar, and Qayumuddin Ansari from Arrah. Apart from this, the party has also fielded strong candidates in districts like Sikt, Pipra, Balrampur and Karkat.

However, the politics of tension and pressure still continues regarding seat sharing among the Grand Alliance. Despite the large presence of RJD and the strength of the alliance with Congress, the equations between all the parties regarding seat sharing have not yet been finalized.
