A coach of Amritsar-Saharsa Garib Rath Express (train number 12204) suddenly caught fire at Sirhind railway station in Punjab. The incident occurred around 7:30 in the morning. As soon as smoke was seen rising from the coach, railway officials took immediate action and safely shifted the passengers to other coaches. Railway fire unit and local fire department reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Officials said that all the passengers are completely safe and there is no report of any casualty. After controlling the fire, the train will soon be sent towards its destination.
