An FIR has been lodged by his wife Dr Kriti Singh against Shivanshu Rajput, an IPS officer posted in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to Delhi, making serious allegations. 41 page complaint
In her 41-page complaint given to the police, Dr. Kriti Singh has named a total of seven people including her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and two of her husband’s friends. She alleged that despite spending around Rs 2 crore on the marriage, she had to face continuous mental and physical harassment after the marriage.
Husband and family accused of dowry harassment
The complaint also claims that IPS Shivanshu Rajput has illicit relations with several women and when he protested against it, he was misbehaved. Dr. Kriti Singh says that their marriage was held on a grand scale in a five-star hotel, but after some time of marriage, their relations started deteriorating.
According to the police, after the FIR was registered, investigation into the case has been started. The investigating officer said that all the allegations are being investigated in depth and further action will be taken on the basis of documents and evidence.
